Halloween 2008

Our trick or treaters had an excellent Halloween this year. We really missed everyone we couldn't go to though. Glad to move on the Thanksgiving.

Is there a more darling Dorthy? We loved the red sparkly shoes. And she loved Halloween.

Easy comes easy goes. Haylee would have been anything I told her too. We loved the green face and striped tights thought.

This was our third idea and costume change. Good thing she is so cute and I guess welcome to life as an eight year old.

A little closer up. The guy on the ladder is our framer Bart. We love him right now!

Ashlee's Baptism

Ashlee's baptism was so nice. She was so excited and I can't believe she is already eight. We are so proud of her. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect baptism everyone who participated did such a great job and when she walked outside in her white dress a perfect snow with big flakes was coming down. It was beautiful!! Congratulations Ashlee.

Progress in slow motion

It took 6 men to lift our first wall into place and I was so excited. After this wall they decided not to sheet them on the ground anymore they were a little to heavy. The exterior wall went up so fast. Hopefully all will stay on track on we can be living here soon.

So this is what happens when you start a house in September in Wyoming. We had just poured our garage floor and the floor to the house was built. Aaron spent the weekend with lots of help keeping the concrete warm with heaters and sweeping off the snow. What fun!!

Finally starting!!!

So here is the front of the house. I have never been so excited about cement in my entire life. I plan to keep updating our progress so hopefully it goes fast and we will be living in it soon. Keep checking.

Our dream if finally coming true!! We started on the house and here is the foundation of the garage. Of course our garage is about as big as the house. If you can't tell the house is in the shape of an L.

8 Random Things About Me

Ok Julie won't leave me alone about doing this so I will attempt to think of 8 random things about me that you all probally know. I am not a real private or interesting person so here we go.

1. I am obsessed with doing and having my 3 girls hair done. I love to think of different ways to do it and sometimes I do all three girls hair the same way to have them match.

2. I have a huge fettish for shoes. I love to buy them myself and I love for my husband who has great taste in shoes to surprise me with them.

3. I have always had a dream of being in the Miss USA pagent. I love the sparkly dresses, big hair and talent contest and then the annoucement of my name and the crown.

4. I love to exercise. Any kind, any form at least 5-6 days a week. This helps keep me sane and releases great endorphins.

5. I can't stand clutter of any kind. Everything has to have a place and if it doesn't it has the garbage. This one is not good, my girls make so many beautiful pictures and have found them in the garbage that I have had to find one special spot to make all of us happy.

6. This random thing I can blame on my husband but I love cars. Old and new but really nice and fast. My dream car is a 71 baracuda.

7. I like to knit. I have a goal of making all my girls a sweater. I have made Natalee one and have half of Haylee's done. For as long as it takes me Natalee will get all three because the other two are getting to big.

8. I would someday like to get my Master's degree or even go back to Medical school to be a doctor if time ever allows. However right now I am really content with life.

Natalee's new friend

Natalee and her imaginary friend Kelly love to play with Comet. She walked all over the yard and calls for him to follow her and he has finally learned to love her and not knock her over. She can't get enough of him.

Summer if finally here!!!

Haylee we had to pay a dollar to try it and she never did like it because she hated the cold.
Natalee loved it and did it over and over.
Summer also brought us the joy of the slip and slide. Ashlee loved it.
Haylee really got the hang of it at the last game and she ran all over the field to get any ball and really made her sister mad but had tons of fun.
Here she goes and it it going....going....gone.
Ashlee really liked t-ball this year and loved to be that last batter so she could run all the bases.

The Big Kid's Trip

Then we shifted gears and went to Times square and I couldn't get over all the lights and people. It was a great trip.
This is the spot on the Sesquahana River that is thought to be where Joseph Smith was baptized. It was so peaceful here.
Aaron had a business trip to New York and Chicago and he let me tag along. We had so much fun and this is the monument of Jospeh Smith and Oliver Cowdery getting the priesthood.

Our Fun Memorial Day

The wonder of a ladybug in your hand for the first time is amazing.
This is what they really liked was the independence of the oars and the open water. They were tied to a rock of course but they didn't know that.
Ashlee and Haylee are not so sure anymore but were good sports. Haylee ended up loving it and Ashlee hated the fish water in her mouth.
The girls are getting ready for the first trip of the season in the tube. They had no idea how cold it was. Ha ha

We went to Flaming Gorge for the weekend and all Haylee wanted to do was catch a fish. So we pulled her out of bed to do it. So much fun.

Finally updating

This is Haylee's pre-school graduation with her best friend Kaylen. They are going to be the smartest girls in Kindergarten next year.

Our Busy weekend

All Ashlee wanted to do is dance with Grandpa so this was her big moment. She loved every minute of it.

The big moment and Haylee was great until she looked out at the crowd. Just a little scared!

Haylee was so nervous she almost didn't want to go out there but still gave me a smile.

Haylee and her partner in crime Jacob. They were so excited for this.

Prom night and Haylee was asked to be a crown bearer. So we all had to dress- up of course. I couldn't ask for prettier girls. I am a little partial of course.

Ashlee had her State gymanastics meet on Saturday and did such a good job. Two first places and a third place. We were so proud of her.

Beach Fun

This was our spring break trip to California. The girls liked Disneyland but loved the beach. This was the only picture we could get of Haylee because once she got wet she didn't want out of her shirt and towel. We had a great time.

This water was freezing but that didn't stop Ashlee she is our beach babe.

Natalee loved the sand but the water was too cold for her.

My First Blog

OK so I finally did it and jumped on the bandwagon of blogging. Wouldn't have been able to do it without Julie but we figured it out. This may take me more time than scrapbooking but I thought it would be a fun way of keeping in touch. Plus I love to look at everyone elses blogs. So here is my attempt and we will see how it goes.
